Costs

Initial Intake Session (75 minutes): $250

Ongoing Regular Sessions (45-50 minutes): $200

I also offer longer EMDR sessions ranging from 90-minutes all the way to four hours. These are great for people who have limited availability for weekly sessions or have a specific event they would like to process such as birth trauma, reproductive trauma, or sexual trauma (among others).

I will begin offering intensives for EMDR therapy in 2026. If you would like to be contacted when I offer these sessions, please let me know by submitting a contact form here.

Do you take insurance?

I’m considered an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. This allows us to work together without the constraints of diagnosis requirements, session limits, or insurance-driven treatment plans.

However, many of my clients use out-of-network benefits to receive partial reimbursement for therapy. I am happy to provide a superbill (detailed invoice) after each session that you can submit to your insurance provider.

If you have out-of-network mental health benefits, I recommend calling the number on the back of your insurance card and asking:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health coverage?

  • What percentage is reimbursed per session?

  • Do I need to meet a deductible first?

Do you offer a sliding scale?

I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients facing financial hardship. However, at this time I have no sliding scale slots available.

If cost is a concern, please still reach out- if I don’t have a reduced spot available, I’ll gladly offer referrals to trusted colleagues.

Why would I choose an out of network therapist?

Because it allows therapy to be done the way it’s meant to be: centered on you, not your insurance company.

When you work with an out-of-network therapist, you’re choosing care that’s:

  • Private and protected

Insurance requires a mental health diagnosis for coverage, and that diagnosis becomes part of your permanent health record. Working together out-of-network allows us to keep your story confidential and off insurance paperwork.

  • Led by your needs, not red tape

Insurance often dictates how long therapy “should” take, what’s considered severe enough to treat, and which approaches are covered. But healing doesn’t follow a script. You deserve therapy that’s tailored to your experience—not squeezed into a box.

  • Deep and flexible

This model gives us space to go deeper. Whether you’re doing EMDR, exploring parts work, unpacking sexual trauma, or simply trying to feel like yourself again—we can move at a pace that honors your nervous system and your readiness.

  • Truly client-centered

You choose the focus. You choose the rhythm. You don’t need to be in crisis to seek support. Therapy can be a space for growth, clarity, grief, embodiment, and everything in between.

For many of my clients—especially those who’ve tried therapy before and still feel stuck—this kind of care is a breath of fresh air. It’s therapy that’s built for real life and deep healing, not just symptom management.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. I accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as HSA/FSA cards. Your payment information is stored securely in my HIPAA-compliant client portal.

What is a Good Faith Estimate?

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate that outlines the expected cost of your therapy. This helps ensure transparency and clarity around fees. I’ll provide your estimate at the start of therapy, and you’re always welcome to ask questions about cost or frequency of sessions.
